The best thing about going around Addis Ababa on foot is the laughter (the last thing you would expect). Everyone thinks they're a comedian. Everyone has a comment to make. If you are not in the mood (like most old school New Yorkers) it could be annoying but for everyone else it is hilarious. If you have a great joke you can make a friend for life.
